Stephanie joined the practice in 2010 after relishing a year working in private and cosmetic dentistry in Sydney, Australia. She graduated from Newcastle University in 2007 and then spent time working in a specialised Paediatric and Oral Surgery unit gaining valuable knowledge that she integrates into her management of patients, especially anxious children.
Following this, she worked as a dentist in Edinburgh, successfully completing her membership exams to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. She takes pride in providing high quality dentistry in a caring, compassionate and friendly way so the patient can feel at ease.
She is especially interested in improving patients’ smiles and is experienced in adult short-term orthodontics which allows her to straighten teeth quickly using worldwide recognised “ invisible brace techniques”.
Stephanie achieved distinction in the highly acclaimed Advanced Aesthetic Dental Program in London. This involved learning to enhance her skills in cosmetic dental procedures such as tooth coloured fillings, natural looking crowns and veneers and whitening in order to improve patients’ smiles.
If you do not like your smile then please speak to her so that can help explain your options.
She has also extended her skills from dentistry to Facial Aesthetic treatments using Botulinum (otherwise known as “Botox”) and Dermal Fillers to smooth away an unwanted wrinkles and rejuvenate the skin.
If you would like a natural, more youthful appearance, speak to Stephanie regarding these techniques.
Outside of work, Stephanie has an adventurous spirit with a love of travelling and sports. Australia offered many adventures and introduced her to her passion, kite surfing. Yes, even in cold Scotland, if the wind is blowing, you’ll probably find her on the water!
